This data helps ensure that you and your driver can find each other easily and that your ride goes smoothly.

  2. Background Location (When the App Is Not Open or in Use):
    We may collect your location data even when the app is running in the background (with your permission). This is necessary for several reasons:

    • Improving Ride Experience: Background location access allows us to track the driver’s proximity when they are en route to pick you up, even if you are not actively using the app. This ensures timely notifications and accurate ETAs.
    • Safety & Emergency Features: In case of emergencies, background location data helps ensure we can provide timely support and track your journey in real time to protect both riders and drivers.
    • Optimizing Service: Using location data in the background also helps us improve routing efficiency, dispatch nearby drivers more effectively, and deliver a better experience overall.

    Note: You have control over your location-sharing settings. If you choose to turn off background location tracking, some features of the app, like receiving driver updates when you’re not actively using it, may not function properly. You can manage these permissions in your device's settings at any time.

1.3 Usage Data

  • Device Information: IP address, device model, operating system, browser type, and app version.
  • Activity: Logs of how you interact with the app, such as features used, buttons clicked, and pages viewed.

1.4 Driver Information
If you are a driver, we may collect additional information such as your driver’s license, vehicle registration, and insurance details.
